Currently living in Chicago, a nice (but still crappy) suburb called Palatine is where home is. Chicago rescued me from what was to become my boring life had I continued living in the burbs. Music is my solace from most things that are a brutal reality. I’m not here to impress anyone, just myself. I love rock ‘n’ roll like so many other hipster-wannabes. Multi-instrumentalist: started with a drum-set in high school, then a guitar in college, might as well add the bass I thought. Taught myself how to sing (kind-of) and WHALA: another Chicago rock-star is born.
If I had to label myself, I’d say I’m a songwriter. But as a songwriter you run into a little problem. You need a band to play out. So I went out and got one. I’m sticking to guitar and vocals and leaving the rest up to them. I just want to live the dream and express myself. If you saw me you might think I’m a poser. But if you met me you’d soon realize I’m the real deal and probably have way bigger balls than you do.
